The 2016 Winter Challenge
Welcome to the first of the 2016 UK Masters qualifiers! Saturday will be the first qualifying heat, with the highest-placing players going through the final in Birmingham in September. Sunday will be a relaxed 150pt Doubles event with new players paired with experienced players, and prizes for silly stuff!
Unfortunately this will be my last tournament as sole TO for the foreseeable future, however organisation of future Challenge Series events will be taken over by the Exeter Inquisition club committee. The Challenge Series is dead, long live the Challenge Series!
Dates Saturday 20th February, 9:30am through to about 6pm, with open gaming until 10pm. Sunday 21st February, 9:30am through to about 6:00pm.

Venue The Exeter District Scouts' HQ in Marsh Barton, Exeter, Devon. The venue has free WIFI and a fully-fitted kitchen including free tea and coffee and is on the southern edge of Exeter, about ten minutes from the end of the M5.
Accommodation Some previous attendees have stayed at St. Andrews Hotel (ten minute walk) and recommended it.
Food Apart from free tea and coffee, no food or drink is included in the ticket. A large number of restaurants and drive-throughs are within a 5m walk. For dinner on Saturday evening we will probably eat at the Seven Stars pub, but may try one of the many new food places round the corner. You're also welcome to bring along packed lunches and use the kitchen to heat up food as long as you tidy up behind you!
