I don't know about humans. They are very keen on families. Just imagine if I went visiting all my relatives. But I don't think they make humans in such large production runs.
Today we went to the Lorelei Rock. They told me about the maiden combing her golden hair and luring the sailors onto the rapids. Imagine my disappointment when there was just a cliff and a million Japanese tourists. That's people for you.
These guys are really restless. Instead of enjoying the nice weather and climbing another mountain they are back in their van eating miles on the motorway.
We went to another Alm. Nowadays they feed the tourists here. In the old days it was the summer grazing grounds of the villages cow herds. Well and mountains ....
Today we went up a real mountain, the Almkopf, 1802 meters (6000 ft), approx 500 meters (1670 ft) to actually scale. Here's me next to the summit cross.
They seem to be set on setting a milage record. So a day of driving and it's so hot it nearly melted my glue. Just before we reached our overnight parking place or (Wohnmobilstellplatz) we ran into a thunderstorm! They had to stop 'cause the rain was so heavy you couldn't see the road anymore.
Today is a boat tour on the Danube and the Danube canal. Very soporific all that slowly passing greenery. Went through large lock and hope the next leg will be more exiting.
Did a sightseeing tour and went to a palace, I think it was called something like Nice Fountain or Schönbrunn. Them Royals really lived the high life, that was just the summer palace.
